Plants As A Natural Eczema Treatment

If you are looking for a natural eczema treatment the answer may have been right in front of your face, actually maybe it was hiding in your garden or kitchen. For years people have used plants that have been known to relieve the symptoms brought on eczema and other skin disorders.


Aloe Vera
It should be no surprise that Aloe Vera Plant would come in at the top of the list. For years Aloe Vera gel has been used as an ingredient in thousands of skin care products. Aloe Vera is very simple to apply all you have to do is cut the leaf and apply the gel directly to the areas on your skin that are affected by eczema. After applying the gel you will immediately notice the moisturizing affects of aloe you should also notice the skin will become softer and the skin tissue will heal faster. Many eczema sufferers who have tried the aloe plant treatment have noticed reduces symptoms and better skin quality.

Chamomile
Chamomile is another plant that is commonly used as a natural treatment for healing eczema. There are two notable chamomile plants one is the German chamomile and the other is the Roman chamomile. Both plants are native to different locations and have other mild differences, but what they both have in common is the fact that both plants have been found to have anti-inflammatory and anti-itching properties, however German chamomile may have a slight advantage over Roman when it comes to skin conditions. If you don’t have access to the direct plant then a chamomile tea compress, essential oils and topical creams with a high concentration of chamomile, massaged directly on the eczema affected area can achieve similar healing effects.
