• Neutrogena T-Gel this is another eczema shampoo that doctors seem to subscribe for mild cases of scalp eczema. I use to alternate between this and selsun blue. I would normally leave it on for about 10 minutes before I washed it out.

• Head and Shoulders this shampoo that’s usually for dandruff sufferers has been know to calm the symptoms of eczema.

• Tar Shampoo lots of eczema sufferers have seen excellent results with tar shampoo again this can be purchased at your local drug store.

• Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Treatment this is normally used for cradle cap in babies however my friends stylist recommended it to her to clear her scalp eczema. You can find it in the baby section of most stores or online for about $8.00. She had tried everything even subscription shampoo and this was only eczema shampoo that worked for her. It doesn’t smell the best but the smell will usually go away after shampooing. She usually applies it as the instructions advises and leaves on her hair for about 30 min, before washing out. It also may be a good idea to follow it up with a moisturizing shampoo.

• Paul Mitchell Tea Tre Shampoo and Treatment. Tea tree is an essential oil that cures many ailments and Paul Mitchell is an household name. Together he made a forumla that some sufferrers have advised eases their eczema symptoms. This shampoo is a little on the pricey side however can be purchased at your local salon.

• Dove Intense Moisture Shampoo this shampoo can be used to put the much needed moisture back into your hair and scalp and has been used to ease the symptoms of eczema.

• Sebulex Shampoo this is a dandruff shampoo that has also been known to help with eczema symptoms it can be purchased online.

• Nizoral Shampoo this shampoo was originally only available under a doctors prescription, however now a slighty lower strength is available over the counter and people have advised that it works just as good as the prescription strenghth this also can be purchased online and at your local drug store.
