Tracking Your Eczema Allergies
Do you have eczema allergies? If so you may have noticed that you have had an outbreak shortly after consuming a product that contains soy, cow’s milk, eggs, seafood or wheat. You may have also noticed that these eczema allergies presented themselves after inhaling dust, pollen, or other substances in your environment.
If you’ve lived with the agony of eczema for awhile then I’m sure you have become aware of some foods that will break you out immediately. These are the eczema allergies that are easy to find. But sometimes our bodies won’t react to these eczema allergies until hours after a food has been consumed. These are the types of food allergies that can be difficult to detect.
To really start taking control of your eczema it’s best to start from the inside out. To do this you will need to closely monitor your diet and record in a journal anytime you eat something that causes an outbreak. After a while you should start to notice a pattern of foods that are constantly causing you a problem. These foods need to be eliminated from your diet.
I know attempting to track your eczema this way can be extremely difficult and time consuming if you are not a very organized person, but it can be very effective if you stick with it. If you can’t dedicate the time it takes to track your eczema diet successfully then seeking the aid of a dermatologist who will be able to perform an allergen test can be helpful and even more precise.
When you have eczema unfortunately food is not your only trigger sometimes eczema can be brought on by environmental factors such as dust or even the temperature. People tend to overlook these triggers because they are purely beyond our control and isn’t hard to phantom they that these simple things can cause outbreaks but they do.
Paying close attention to your surroundings and what’s going on when you experience an outbreak is a must. My son for instance has experienced outbreaks when inhaling foods that he’s allergic to while they cooked. He’s also experienced outbreaks when food he’s allergic comes in contact with his skin. Therefore being careful is a must.
Another eczema allergy that I’m sure many allergy sufferers also have a problem with is pollen. Unfortunately when pollen is the culprit it’s nearly impossible to control, and sadly there’s not much you can do to treat it. Symptoms will vary from person to person you may notice an outbreak on your skin or you may experience symptoms similar to hay fever.
Basically the best thing to do if you have eczema is work through the process of elimination. Everyone is different and you have to pay careful attention to what you eat and your surroundings so that you can provide the best solution for your body.
